Monte Carlo Masters: Coric, Musetti Advance
Unseeded Players Reach Second Round
MONACO, April 14 (Reuters) - Unseeded players Borna Coric of Croatia and Lorenzo Musetti of Italy advanced to the second round of the Monte Carlo Masters on Sunday.
Coric, ranked 98th in the world, upset 13th-seeded Carlos Alcaraz of Spain 6-4, 6-3, while Musetti, ranked 60th, defeated qualifier Pedro Cachin of Argentina 6-4, 6-3.
Coric will face fifth-seeded Stefanos Tsitsipas of Greece in the second round, while Musetti will take on 10th-seeded Holger Rune of Denmark.
